$5,900 has been awarded to sixteen winners at the Williamsburg Music
Club’s 2011 Grants Auditions, held on March 12th at Ewell Hall,
College of William and Mary. The Music Club’s annual auditions
support young musicians in their studies and are open to school-aged
music students in the greater Williamsburg area.
Senior Division, Outstanding Performance Award of $750:

Senior Division Musical Achievement Award of $500:
Amahl Hodge, violin, West Point, student of Tom Lindsay

Senior Division Young Talent Award of $200:
Victoria Brinkley, voice, Williamsburg, student of Myrna Brinkley

Junior Division, Outstanding Performance Award of $500:

Junior Division, Musical Achievement Award of $300:

In addition, the Kathy Exton Prize of $500 granted to an
outstanding Senior going on to music studies at the college level was
awarded to:

The Williamsburg Music Club is supported by grants from the
Williamsburg Community Foundation, the Williamsburg Area Arts
Commission, the Barnes Investment Consulting Group of Wells Fargo
Advisors as well as the generous gifts from members and contributing
friends of the WMC. The Music Club also gratefully acknowledges a
donation of $1000 raised in May 2010 by the Williamsburg Area Music
Teachers in support the Grants-in-Aid Fund.
The Williamsburg Music Club is a not-for-profit organization with tax
exempt status under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Club has established both the Grants-in-Aid Fund and the WMC
Endowment Fund for contributions at any time.
